Hi there!
I'm working on a depot object. Between the rails it has got a pit, and for modelling I need some sizes:
- Between 2 rails: the width of the pit - x
- The width of a rail - y
both dimensions depending on the rail you used and the gauge, a simple solution is to measure it with reference lines. ![]()
I know. But that isn't accurate.
I've measured my rail with reference lines a while ago, it's hard and fiddling but doable.![]()
If you are using the standard rail "rail_grooved_ph37 (SplinesBerlin)", the value of y should be 0.1265
For your x value you have to try because I'm not 100% sure, but it should be *gauge* - 0.148
Hey,
the values from Kira are correct. I'm a bit astonished, that you got the values from measuring with a reference line.![]()
Greets
I'll try it, thank you! ![]()
