I'm from Geneva in Switzerland so obviously I have to present you the new generation of buses, "TOSA", with ultrafast charging at stops and 100% electric, Swiss made. Here in Geneva we are the first to put them into service.

(By the way can someone tell me why I can't put pictures, it says that it got disallowed BBCode but it doesn't, and 50 kB is way too small)

I hope the time has come to talk about the problem of the Kazan tram. A lot of text, I immediately apologize that there will be errors.
Well, it's time to hike. Today’s incident that occurred in Kazan on Yamashev Avenue (http://transphoto.ru/photo/1195952/), I want to reveal many of the problems of Kazan MUP "Metroelectrotrans". Maybe after that I’ll close the road there myself, but I’ll know everything about this problem. I am personally tired of what is happening. But first, a small course. So far, only about tram farming.
In 2017, I worked for two months in the tram depot in the position of "engineer-technologist - fixer VET". Initially, in 2017 at the university (or rather, at the department) I asked for an opportunity to do an internship at the MUE Metroelektrotrans, but they refused me. In the end, I went to work myself.
In those two months, I saw a lot. Most importantly, I was surprised that TO-1 was being made to those cars that were newer and constantly referred to, that there were no spare parts for the old cars. And there were cases that if the car stopped at TO-1 and did not make repairs (although then they went to the line with breakdowns and I repeatedly came across cars that came out of TO-1 and simply did not reach the final stop).
Next - TO-2. TO-2 did and it seems like two brigades, Kazan and Izhevsk, continue to do so far. Although it happened that after TO-2 they went out on the line with breakdowns, since it is necessary to close the release.
Now the release - the main problem of MUP Metroelectrotrans is the closing of the morning issue. It used to happen that 69 out of 75 trams could come out. And I remember this very well what it was.
And now about the situation in general.
At first about purchases.
At the end of 2012, 30 trams for the Universiade 2013 were purchased, of which 20 are three-section AKSM 84300M cars and 10 single-section AKSM 62103 cars.
At the end of 2013, 10 AKSM 62103 single-compartment wagons (or Stadler 62103) were purchased.
At the end of 2015, 10 single-compartment wagons 71-623-02.02 were purchased and in June 2016, another 12 single-compartment wagons 71-623-02.02 were purchased.
At the end of 2016, 3 three-section AKSM 84500K cars were purchased, which allegedly were supposed to extend the warranty for the AKSM 84300M tram models.
In the middle of 2017, 7 single-section wagons 71-407-01 were purchased and at the beginning of 2018 20 single-section wagons 71-407-01 were purchased.
In the middle of 2018, a three-piece wagon 71-409-01 came to the test.
Now let's calculate how many cars there should have been at the moment (this is without taking into account cars that were already on the balance sheet until 2013):
20 items AKSM 84300M
20 items AKSM 62103
22 items 71-623-02
3 items AKSM 84500K
27 items 71-407-01.
Total: 92 cars.
Now the production of cars with 4 operating routes (1, 4, 5 and 6) of 6 is 75 cars.
That is, 92 cars were enough to close production and 17 cars would be in reserve.
But in fact, it turns out that even this is not enough.
About the problem, or about the black glory of MUP "Metroelectrotrans".
With the arrival of new cars in 2013, there was a belief that this was a new and good start for the development of this enterprise, but unfortunately it turned out not to be the case.
After 3 years of operation, many of the cars that were purchased for the Universiade 2013 are already on the line with a malfunction. There were mostly problems with the brakes, either they did not work or there were no pads. I know the real situation when there were cars in operation such as LM-99AE (they are called LM-134 at the enterprise), so there was a situation that there was only one block on the car. ONE PAD. And it was not the only such car. Even in 2017, I remember that in fact spat on the maintenance of these cars. For several days they stood idle either on the ditches or on the fans.
And now we come to this problem at the present time. For six months, burned three trams, it is 2 units. AKSM 84300M with tail numbers 1302 and 1303, as well as 1 unit. AKSM 62103 from the board.number 1334. And this, by the way, will continue further with terrible maintenance, since the conditional 1306 has problems with a minus for a long time. On other cars already bolts are ABSENT on wheel pairs. And about the workers, the second cabins can be counted on one’s fingers at all, except for three AKSM 84500K (1400, 1401 and 1402) cars, but they also have problems. I will describe this below.
Let us go back to the problem, and again we will talk about the pads. In 2016, many of my friends began to notice that there were no brakes on the AKSM 62103 tram models, and when clarifying the problem it turned out that on some of the cars there was not a complete set of shoes.
Many accidents involving trams were due to the lack of brakes. I’m talking about the accidents where the cars had brakes. Of the most recent, these are the rolling-ups of wagons from the National Archive to Khalitov. Once there was such an accident with the participation of 1208 from 1316. The latter had a front mask broken. Then there was a case of rolling 1324 about 1361.
And this is not the only accident in the last 5 years.
I actually have no complaints about drivers, because they essentially work according to the principle “either you work or you go out”. And many have to work on faulty cars.
Another problem is the outer skin of the cars. After each collision (or an accident with cars, or with another tram, or even with buses) - the cars leave without external plating. And MUP "Metroelectrotrans" only once bought a large batch of plating, but as it turned out, this is not enough and many cars still continue to work.
And now we will return to AKSM 84500K and their creaking. In the area of the trolley and body connection, it is still not blurred and constantly publishes a script and there is a big fear that they will roll down like АКSМ 62103, as they have an identical cart in design and details (except for height).
And this I just told a part of everything, and then it will be still hot.
Now I want to go to the field of education, namely to the specialization "Electric transport".
For 4 years (well, or for 5 years) I did not see anything sensible, so that they could explain to us about the correct operation of the rolling stock. Basically, we were told about engines and converters. It has never been said about the operation of the tram, and the engineers in the field of "electric transport" must know this. But the main other problem is that this specialty at the Kazan State Energy University is one of the most unpopular ones and those who have not passed to other specialties or fans of transport come to this specialty.
I recently attended a conference at the Moscow Energy University and left me with the following impression:
“Well, I rolled quietly and peacefully to Moscow. The trip was rather boring and tedious, as I would like to go home, but one big plus from this trip was. I finally visited NRU "MEI" at the department of "Electric Transport" (yes, it is now called differently, but the essence is the same). I talked with the guys, with teachers from this department - there was one positive result from communicating with them. We talked about what they were studying and surprised that they have a subject or part of a lecture that is related to the city’s transport system. For graduates of the Department of "Electric Transport", because they need to know not only engines, but also converters, but also the very transport system of the city. Of course, this is just a small fraction - but what does the MEI, that KSPEU has a common problem when studying the core disciplines that are associated with Electric transport?
And then we ask why we have a problem with public transport, in particular with electric. Many of them do not know what electric transport is and at the same time work in the field of electric transport. Well, or take students (students) who are trained in the specialty "Electric transport", what percentage of graduates go to the profile? Most likely 1% or less. And this is only talking about those who study full-time. "
That is, in our electric transport people work not according to their profile and in fact come there to earn money and that’s all. None of them thinks about the development, about the improvement of electric transport. Can it then be better to live without electric transport, and ride carts, like in villages or villages?
The main result of all:
I believe that we need a complete cleaning of personnel in Metroelectrotrans. In addition, it makes sense to use the Motor Transport College, which produces personnel for operation. Raise wages and so on.
And now, in fact, Kazan Metallurgical Unitary Enterprise Metroelektrotrans in Russia is one of the worst in terms of service, but there is another problem that we do not have normal personnel who could manage the enterprise of urban electric transport.

Hello! Some pictures of my local buses.
Line B 27, now replaced by the M 27, a "metrobus" line. The Àrea Metropolitana de Barcelona launched a rip-off of the Berlin Metrobus and expressbus. The bus is an Irisbus Citelis bodied by Noge.
The B 80, Before 12/2011 it was known as 800 and wore normal solobusses. This MAN midibus is hated by most elder people who are the most common passengers, as EVERY fixed seat is on a step. More ridiculous, with three doors there are less seats, and two seats are "flying", on the rear left wheels. Nowadays in this line there are Heuliez midibusses, where they do have seats without steps. Those MAN midibusses were relocated to other lines with less passengers.
Replacement buses. The line 1 was closed between Fondo and Torras i Bages in August 2017 for major maintenance works. At the left, the 3103, a Citaro G with Voith gearbox, at my right, the 3434 a MAN NG 313 F, bodied by Castrosua, also with Voith change,

Hallo!

I share here a couple of photos of bus no. 577S of Actv (Venice), purchased used in 2015.
The bus from 2004 (year of its construction) to 2015 was owned by OVA Aalen, with number 831.
The firtst photos was taken at the "depot" (or better, bus park) of Mogliano Veneto. In this "depot" serves some trips og the linea 8AE, 8E, 14E, 9E, 12E, and all school-lines from and to Mogliano Veneto.
The third was taken while the bus was in service one of the two morning school journeys of the line 14E.
The "S" next to 577 means "subcontracted", indeed the bus was given to subcontracting between autumn 2018 and 2019 (not before august 2018, as we can see in this picture: https://www.google.com/maps/pl…4d12.247052!14m1!1BCgIgAQ)
