What is exactly the point you are missing concerning PBR?
Janine the point is we make models using PBR-texturing or similar
systems like it is in Transport Fever or RailWorks, f.e. If not PBR, we still do need Normal map, Ambient Occlusion
map, Reflections map etc. So far the in-game model looks like it doesn't have
any textures except Diffuse. Will you add these texture in the
future or we should bake textures like in 2010? =))

Janine of course this is not a critical problem for me. I'm very interesting into LOTUS and want to see it more and more better.
As a 3d artist and modder I also want to have ability to realize my skills on this platform too. PBR is much more modern technology than using phototextures, it gives ability to create a very nice looking textures: those dirt, dust, attrition and so on, you know...
If LOTUS plans to become the main transport simulator in the coming years - I think it should have the PBR textures suppot.

When the current graphic engine is likely to be completed, we will have again a look at this. It may happen that the conversion to Vulcan will take place even before that... So maybe you'll have to wait a little while before.

Heuliez yep, I see your point, but can't agree: it's always better to make proper graphic base before lunching the game or at he start, than later.
And we are talking not about "cutting age" graphics, but about nessessary technological minimum.
Besides, shaders could solve LOTUS's perfomance problems.

that's the point. Look at Transport Fever game: it uses just colored boxes, but how reallistic do they look!
