Communication between object and user vehicle

Hello,

i would like to ask you, if there is a possibility to create a communication between object placed in map and user's vehicle, which it has just ran over this object. Something like checkpoint which tell user's vehicle some information like limit speed etc.

(I am sorry if someone asked about it before and i missed it or if i have choosen wrong thread to ask).
