    Name of project:

    Details:

Story time. I have been making mods for LOTUS since the very first month (I published the first ever tram for this pile of Zugriff), but after tons of negative experience, I lost all my faith in LOTUS as a simulator. I don't know what I expected, but the current state of LOTUS is ridicoulous. With every update the game gets slower and slower, and newer bugs are introduced. Like when you make a train, don't touch it for years, and somehow all the mirrors stop working on it, and noone bats a god damn eye about asking for help. I tested the program on a much stronger PC than mine, and it ran just as patheticly, that was the last nail to the coffin of optimalization or whatever promise on that topic. The game is stuck, there's no real progress. After what, 5 years the game is still early access, still runs worse than OMSI, and all we get for a lot of money is some lagging default map (I'm looking at you Berlin...). Crashing content tool, flickering and unusable lights with multithreading, polygon and light errors everywhere. Prove me wrong and make a better game, or prove me rigth and delete this thread or moderate me, like so many people, at this point I don't care.

Anyway, about the topic of this thread: I started building this metro project years ago because I got fed up that no real metro simulator is present (Subtransit is still WIP, Metrostoi has very serious limitations because of the GM base). I built the basics way before tunnels and third rails were such a thing, because I guess I'm an idiot (and since I hadn't have mood for it in the past half year, that's still the case on this map). There's no signalling, AI or timetable at the moment, the train also has some minor bugs (mainly with the couples). But it's a fair train+map combo in my opinion. If I'll make any updates on them (as well as other projects), I'll update the steam workshop elements of course.
