When I open LOTUS via Steam, I see this in Task Manager:

Lotus.exe(2) If I click on that the tree expands to reveal the following:

    LOTUS.exe

    LOTUS_Input.exe (32Bit)

So I just purchased Lotus today on Steam and noticed in the root directory folder that there is a LOTUS.exe and a LOTUS_32.exe. When I open the Steam Client and press 'Play', is LOTUS playing in the .exe or _32.exe??

I am not a content creator, i just want to drive a bus in a game that gives me a better experience than omsi 2....

I think you speak for a great many of us. Most of us are already users of Omsi and have been for years but we are desperately in need of an updated 64 Bit improvement and LOTUS is meant to be the one but I fear it's going to be a long wait for us!

I've been playing OMSI for a few years now but never knew of this music. I see that it was actually composed by Marcel himself.

Is it classed as the official OMSI theme tune? If so, I wonder why it was never in the game itself on the opening splash screen?

As the OP says, will there be a theme for LOTUS and if so, will Marcel be the composer? ^^

This is a very good idea. TML (Devs of Fernbus e.t.c.), do these monthly vlogs called Dev Diaries on YouTube telling us what features and updates they've been working on and showing us little sneak-peak clips of the game/DLC e.t.c. This makes the User-base feel more connected to the Dev team.

They also do this not only in their German native language but they do it again for us English speaking players too.

Again, if Lotus doesn't offer enough for you at the moment, then simply wait until it will do.

Like you, I also created this account despite not owning the game yet and I think there's quite a few of us already done that. However, that doesn't stop us asking questions in this section which is called, 'Questions Before Buying'.

    Hi,..

Yes, I understand and I am not actually asking for a release date of anything but now you have released LOTUS EA already with a module, surely you can tell people what you guys are currently working on and what we can expect. At the moment, there is nothing to play with. Most of the buyers will be gamers, not content creators.

For example, at the moment there is only one tram going around in a small circle. When do passengers arrive, A.I traffic, a proper route?? It's not fair to tell people that have purchased LOTUS that it's ready when it's ready. This could mean one month, 2 months, six months, One year! Customers will need to see a roadmap otherwise where is the trust?

I am worried that maybe you have released LOTUS demo just for the content creators and modders. Are you relying on the content creators and modders to make freeware buses and maps before you guys provide us with anything?

    Hi Devs,

When can we potential purchasers expect to see the first bus and full length driveable bus route in LOTUS?

Also, have you published a roadmap of what you expect to achieve in the your Simulator and in what time-frame?

    Thanks.

Are the roads in real-time scale in terms of distance? For example, if it takes one hour to get from A to B in real-life on a bus, will it be one hour in LOTUS too. That's 1.1 scale.

I hope TracKIR is made available at the earliest opportunity during the Early Access phase and that we don't have to wait too long. I can't imagine driving a bus in LOTUS without my TrackIR. :)

    Hi Devs,..

I enjoy OMSI a lot but the A.I traffic has always been a problem in terms of its behaviour. Many of us have to turn 'Collisions' off in the settings which spoils the realism aspect of it. Will you be working to make LOTUS A.I traffic better and more realistic?

    Thanks.

What are your plans for adding passengers? I mean, will they be the same as OMSI or will you be making new ones? I like some of the characters in OMSI, especially the little old lady so I hope she comes to LOTUS. :)

Real-time weather in OMSI is very good. I hope in LOTUS that it will be the same showing the wet looking roads and I like the sound of the bus tyres on the wet roads. It's good that the buses get dirty in bad weather so we can clean them.
