Looking at the spontaneous reaction of many content developers, to offer an english translation of their announcements as a result of this initiative, I believe the situation will improve now.

Then we have very different experience. Since I live in Norway since 14 years I expect I can trust my experience.
English is generally more common in small countries (by population), where much of media production is imported and not dubbed or translated. That applies to the Baltic states and also to Norway. German is spoken in the european DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and in some parts of surrounding countries. That is between 150 and 200 million people. This is, with all respect, a different league. Most of media is available in german language, most germans never have to practice their english skills. You actually claim this yourself: The LOTUS forum works perfect for german native speakers. It locks out others but it works. A forum in Estonian or Norwegian language would not work at all.
We can continue to discuss our experience by means of personal messages if you want, but this thread should focus on your original proposal, which we agree upon to be positive. Let's not highjack this thread.

Hi, GameBurrow
I do not want to disappoint you, but English as spoken language is not common in Germany. Everybody learns it at school, but for most people that is it. For me, as a German native speaker, it was a sort of a cultural shock when I moved to Norway and discovered that every single Norwegian speaks perfect english and is not shy to use it - quite the opposite of what I experienced in Germany. This only makes it even more important to establish a bilingual approach in forums like the LOTUS forum. Great initiative you launched here!

I would volunteer to translate to english and if needed to norwegian languages.

Did you choose a bus before you set the axes? I have a combined Throttle/Brake axis and also separate Brake- and Throttle (Gas) Axes, but when I modified my tram setup some days ago, these axes were missing, so I believe you need to choose the bus before you can set the axes. You will also need to set the axis for steering (Street-Models) to your steering wheel axis.

From your images it is obvious that you are loading a map, not aerial pictures, in your case it is OpenStreetMap. This project seems currently to struggle a bit with enhanced server load as a followup of the corona-crisis. Other games, e.g. "Leitstellenspiel" in Germany have recently been asked to reduce the server-traffic caused by them.

Janine, I had the same problem when I tried to join an MP session. This was about an hour ago. The buttons to proceed and to leave (at top right and top left) just did not react, other than displaying their tooltips. Itriedwith three different sessions.

Janine may be he should receive some support? The users complains at the Steam forum for not having received an answer.

At Steam you can visit the LOTUS Workshop without owning the game. This gives you a nice insight and overview of what is available and what not, besides the game itself.

AFAIK, the "L" stands for Leitstelle
