The well known Setvars from OMSI... | Can they be implemented in LOTUS as well?

  • Hi everyone!

So, a few days ago i started a citybus project for LOTUS-simulator, and I finished converting 85-90% of the models. My question is the next, how can i implement the setvars in LOTUS-simulator?

    Is it possible at all?

'Thanks for the reply guys! :)

  • Hi!

Well, currently, we do not have such thing like the setvars in OMSI. But we do have the possibility that the user can set vehicle constants to decide if there should be some changes at the vehicle.

Until now, you cannot connect the vehicle constants to special repaints, but this complete topic isn't finished at all (converning repaints, vehicle numbers, chronical changes, module settings and vehicle constants)...

Hope I could help you a little bit! :-)

  • Quick question: Do we have an available tutorial about making a vehicle repaintable? I am trying to implement it to a custom AI car but I can't find anything about it.

  • https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AkkF_9kwrU0, and https://youtu.be/QfN57gZLTUw :)

  • Gyors kérdés: Rendelkezésre áll-e egy oktatóanyag a jármű újrafényezhetővé tételéről? Megpróbálom megvalósítani azt egy egyedi AI autóval, de nem találok róla semmit.

    :)

I thought I had to make my vehicle capable of repainting, but thanks, i will try this method.
