Düsseldorf 1981: Fahrplan und KI-Update + 715 zum Graf-Adolf-Platz

    Das Düsseldorf Update ist da. :D

    Wir haben heute für euch das oft nachgefragte Update für das Düsseldorf Add-On auf den Weg gebracht. Damit bekommt die Düsseldorf Karte Fahrpläne, KI-Straßenbahnen und die Linie 715 bekommt einen neuen Linienweg.

    Bitte stellt euer Datum im Spiel auf das Jahr 1980 um.

    Sonst habt ihr weder Fahrpläne, noch KI-Straßenbahnen. ;) Apropos Fahrpläne: Es gibt einige Sachen zu beachten.

    • Die Linie 76 fährt zurzeit mit maximal 3 Kursen im Abschnitt Lörick (Innengleis) - Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof (Kehrgleis) mit GT8S. KI-Straßenbahnen gibt es mit der Einstellung "Nur wichtigster"
    • Die Linie 710 fährt zurzeit mit maximal 6 Kursen im Abschnitt Lörick (Außengleis) - Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof (Karlstraße Außengleis) mit GT8; KI-Einstellung "Nur wichtiger"
    • Die Linie 715 fährt zurzeit mit maximal 4 Kursen nur Mo-Sa im Abschnitt Oberkassel, Rheinbahnhaus - Graf-Adolf-Platz mit GT8SU; KI-Einstellung "Nur wichtigster"
    • Verstärkerfahrten für die 76 Mo-Fr vormittags im Abschnitt Lörick - Jan-Wellem-Platz mit B80 Stahl; KI-Einstellung "Auch unwichtiger"

    Nachdem nochmal gut 40-50 Häuser erstellt wurden und die entsprechende Zeit im Map Editor investiert wurde, ist der Abschnitt zwischen Opernhaus un Graf-Adolf-Platz befahrbar. Fahrt also mit der 715 von Oberkassel kommend am Opernhaus nach rechts und erkundet:


    Das Wilhelm-Marx-Haus und die große Wendeanlage um das Gebäude herum,


    den Graf-Adolf-Platz als neuen Endpunkt für die 715 und


    das "Bankenviertel" von Düsseldorf.


    Das Update ist ein Abbild des laufenden Prozesses der Karten-Erstellung. Damit einhergehen einzelne Unschönheiten, die wir unter Known-Bugs zusammenfassen. Wir werden Anfang September ein weiteres Update veröffentlichen, welches dann einige Punkte aus dieser Liste eliminiert:

    • unklare Weichenlage an verschiedenen Stellen, die Standardlage ist aber häufig die richtige Lage
    • 2 große Baulücken auf dem neuen Abschnitt
    • Häusersplines im Bereich Opernhaus
    • fehlende Details auf dem neuen Abschnitt
    • teilweise fehlende Beleuchtung
    • teilweise fehlende Aufhängung für die Oberleitung
    • Autos, die durch den Boden fahren
    • Behinderungen zwischen Auto-KI und Tram-KI
    • falscher Stromabnehmer oben bei KI-Fahrzeugen auf der Linie 76
    • manchmal keine Linienbeschilderung der KI-Fahrzeuge
    • fehlende Ansagen auf dem neuen Abschnitt

    The Dusseldorf Update is here. :D

    Today we have launched the much requested update for the Düsseldorf add-on. With this update, the Düsseldorf map gets timetables, AI trams and the line 715 gets a new route.

    Please change your date in the game to 1980.

    Otherwise you have neither timetables nor AI trams. ;) Speaking of timetables: There are a few things to keep in mind.

    • Line 76 currently runs with a maximum of 3 courses in the section Lörick (inner track) - Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof (reversing track) with GT8S. AI trams exist with the setting "Only most important".
    • Line 710 currently runs with a maximum of 6 courses in the section Lörick (outside track) - Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof (Karlstraße outside track) with GT8; AI setting "Only more important".
    • Line 715 currently runs with a maximum of 4 courses only Mon-Sat in the section Oberkassel, Rheinbahnhaus - Graf-Adolf-Platz with GT8SU; AI setting "Only most important".
    • Additional tours for the 76 Mon-Fri mornings in the section Lörick - Jan-Wellem-Platz with B80 Stahl; AI setting "Also unimportant".

    After another 40-50 buildings have been created and the corresponding time invested in the map editor, the section between the opera house and Graf-Adolf-Platz is passable. So take the 715 from Oberkassel, turn right at the opera house and explore:


    The Wilhelm Marx House and the large turning area around the building,


    Graf-Adolf-Platz as the new terminus for the 715 and


    the "banking district" of Dusseldorf.


    The update is a reflection of the ongoing map creation process. This is accompanied by individual unpleasantnesses, which we summarise under Known Bugs. We will release another update at the beginning of September, which will then eliminate some of the items from this list:

    • unclear switch position at various points, but the standard position is often the correct position
    • 2 large building gaps on the new section
    • House splines in the opera house area
    • Missing details on the new section
    • Partly missing lighting
    • Partly missing suspension for the overhead line
    • Cars driving through the ground
    • Obstructions between car AI and tram AI
    • Wrong pantograph on top of KI vehicles on line 76
    • sometimes no line signage of the AI vehicles
    • Missing announcements on the new section
