Station Window doesn't fit my screen - the bottom part isn't visible

  • 1. Please describe as detailed as possible what you did and which problem that leads to.

In the editor when I want to edit a station, the window opens but it's too large so I can't see the bottom part. My resolution is 1440x900. I attached screenshot.

I can't lower the scalling in the Win 10 settings since I have only 100% and larger as options. Snapping also doesn't work since this window behaves like it's fixed size.

    2. Please post your logfile and if possible attach your debug logfile, as well, which have been created during the problem occured.

  • Workaround

You might try moving the screen upwards to see the options at the bottom of the screen or try to set it wo fullscreen by double click on window's title.

Just hit ALT+SpaceBar. Now the Dialog's context menu should pop open. Press Down Arrow twice to select "Move Window" now hit Return. now you should be able to move the windows with your arrow keys. Hit CTRL+Retun to cancel this mode.

Attention: When moving the Mouse it's jump back to Mouse Curser Position.

It might not work with all windows .

  • Thank you for suggestion. I was able to move the screen to see the bottom part but I still can't work there because as soon as I leave the move mode it returns to the old position.

  • You can try to put the cursor in one of the entry fields and then press tab, until the cursor is in the OK-Field (and then press enter).

I have the Problem to and this is my workaround solution.

  • I can only repeat myself...

Put the cursor in this field:

Then press "Tab" 5 times. The cursor is now on the "OK" field. Now you can press "enter".

  • Thank you for help, but it's really hard to work like that.

If you don't believe me - just check the screenshot.

Also, it's not just about the buttons, I can't see the links pane.

A simple scrollbar would fix the problem.

  • Bumping this thread because I wonder if this is put to something like "issues to fix" list? I know the focus is on NG, but this is really stopping me to work and I kind of lost interest in working on my map because I wanted to try to setup AI buses.
