I'm wondering, are triggers actually working for busses or only for Trams at this moment ![]()

Got it working now by uninstalling the game, removing drivers, installing drivers and reinstalling the game. Can be closed now

Thanks for the response!
I figured out that the Steering Wheel it self is working. By working I mean that the buttons are working but the wheel and pedals, not. I can't connect them while I'm 100% sure they work.
Also, 30 FPS maybe isn't low but the whole game is stuttery. Combining the fact that this wasn't the problem quite some patches ago.
Logfile can be seen here, since the attachment is to big. https://drive.google.com/file/…Jm25d4Q3/view?usp=sharing -
1. Please describe as detailed as possible what you did and which problem that leads to.
The game has really bad performance. The loading screen has at max 33FPS.
In-game the FPS is a bit higher but it lagging all time.
I have updated my GPU to the latest drivers but no difference
I have this game for quite some time but those performance issues I have now are really bad.
Also, My steeringwheel doesn't work, while it does work for any other game. It isn't even recognised2. Please post your logfile and if possible attach your debug logfile, as well, which have been created during the problem occured.

it's seems like you only care about Games
OP asked for a CPU for LOTUS, and LOTUS is a Game. So, jeah!
I personally use Multicore applications like Video Editing more than i Play games. But this was not the Question...That's right. All tho I'm running a 3700x with decent GPU, RAM and SSD. I'm still getting a lot of lag time to time.

If you only care about the FPS Difference (Which is at max 5FPS) and don't care about:
How can you make an FPS Statement/Comparison without a reference?
5pfs from what? 12? 30? 200?
Its like i would say "My car has only 5 BHP less then others".Reference enough, just search for it. I'm not going to pasta all sorts of data here. Just common information.
Also, it's seems like you only care about Games, looking at your first comment.
Nothing wrong with that, but thats mostly because of Intels higher clockspeeds.
At this moment, most games are not able to work with a lot of cores.
I can tell you that the 9900K Will be beating by AMD in AAA Games in 2021/2022.
Just because games will be able to scale better and core speed will be less important.
Nothing wrong with having Intel tho, I had a I5 4690 For years!

If you only care about the FPS Difference (Which is at max 5FPS) and don't care about:
- Safety, Intel Core is outdated is writen with problems- Better Encoding Power
- Data Compression
- Wattage (Consuming 15Watt Less while having 4 More cores)
- Higher IPC, Single and Multithreaded- Lower Core Latency
- Lower Cache Latency
- Better Price to performance
-
Dunno, I'm running a 3700x with 16GB RAM, RX Vega 64 and M2 SSD and still having lag and low FPS.
I would recommend the 3900x over the 9900K. Better able to multitask.

Kinda fixed this issue by installing items one by one.

1. Please describe as detailed as possible what you did and which problem that leads to.
Hi,
I moved all files to another directory. Now, my own items to still work. But all Workshop items are missing.
I have started LOTUS and I saw all items loading up. I can actually see all workshop items I have subscribed to in the LOTUS Directory.
I can not see them in the map editor.
Please help. -
1. Please describe as detailed as possible what you did and which problem that leads to.
When changing Tile Reservations in the Editor, I can not see my reservations.
But when Creating a new map and reserving tiles, I see can my own reservation.
How can I fix this? -
The map looks fantastic! Keep going!
Thanks! Really appreciated!
That texture on the sidewalk looks weird, like the larger stones consist of smaller ones, some of them including the gaps between the larger stones in their surface. Maybe you got the detail texture wrong?
I changed the Detail texture and the sidewalk is now fixed, thanks!

I Gave the Centre a bit of a upgrade

Due to work and school I haven't had much time to work on the map. I will try to make progress again. -
Performance in the map editor is better now guys! FPS Has been doubled so good work on your side Dev's! There is still room for improvement but for now, good job!

First: That template isn't there to just sit around. Fill that in next time.
Second: Reading the log yourself will tell you that your 'GPU' isn't capable of playing this game because OpenGL 3.3 isn't supported. Your GPU is on 3.1.0
You might try updating your drivers but I highly doubt that would work. -
I cant answer questions 2 and 3, because i dont really know anything about that. But for your first question, the answer is easy. At this point the triggers only can be used for the switches and not for the traffic lights, but I think that will come not too far away.
Ahh Alright! Thanks mate!

Hi guys!
1. I was trying out the new triggers and signals but I could not find out the following. When a vehicle drives over a trigger I want the trafficlight to switch to green. How do I do that? The Lexicon did not help me / Could not help me.2. I'm planning to get a new PC later this year. At this moment my 4 core I5 4690 is bottlenecking when using games and performance hungry programs. When getting a 6/8 or 12 core CPU will the game map editor performance increase as well? At this moment it is 20 FPS or worse all time. Having less then 10 is 70% of the time right now. Would a 8 core increase the performance?
3. If question 2 is negative then I have the following suggestion. When the map editor has started up it's performance is rather good, 60 fps. That is because it has not loaded a lot of tiles. If the program loads and loads it is getting more and more laggy, because it is loading a awful lot of things. It loads 110 tiles. Would it be a good option to limit the tiles in the map editor to 3x3 for example. I think performance will be massively increased.
Thanks in advance.
FPS When loaded almost no tiles:FPS When All Tiles are loaded:

Still building more houses.
