NVIDIA graphics card optimization for LOTUS

  • Some settings of the NVidia driver can affect the performance in a negative way. We recommend to set the driver settings to the values shown below espacially after the driver gets updated.

Within the NVidia system settings (Rightclick on deskop, then NVidia system settings) LOTUS should have its own profile to specify several settings. The settings written in bold letters are different to the standard settings:

    Anisotropic filtering: 16x

    Antialiasing - FXAA : Off

Antialiasing - Setting: Use global setting (8x)

Antialiasing - Gamma correction: Use global setting (On)

Antialiasing - Mode: Override any application settings

    Antialiasing - Transparency: Multisample

CUDA - GPUs: Use global setting (All)

    Triple buffering: On

Power management mode: Use global setting (prefer maximum power)

Maximum pre rendered frames: Use the 3D applacation setting

Multi-Frame Sampled AA (MFAA): Use global setting (On)

Preferred OpenGL GPU: Use global setting (Chose automatically)

Shader Cache: Use global setting (On)

Texture filtering - Anisotropic sample optimization: Off

Texture filtering - Negative LOD-Bias: Clamp

Texture filtering - Quality: Use global setting (Quality)

Texture filtering - Trilinear Optimization: Use global setting (On)

Threaded optimization: Use global setting (Auto)

Vertical sync: Use the 3D applacation setting

Virtual reality prerendered frames: Use global setting (1)
